Here's a PV I've always found touching. It's "Brave", by 9nine. These girls are really cute, and the featured one, Hirono, has had some good acting roles over the years, and if the tall one, Sayaka, looks familiar, it's because she's the younger sister of "A-chan" from Perfume.
Today's episode covers Music Station for July 31st. The clowns were back, much to Sarah's dismay... but Superfly also returned! Did this lady win over your podcast hosts a second time?Tune in to find out!
And for our personal recommendations, we bring you The World Ends With You soundtrack, and My Name! Enjoy!
Hey, guys! Since the podcast is only a monthly thing, I thought I'd start posting music videos once a week, just to keep bringing you more great music to explore. Let me know if that's something you enjoy, or if we can go further with that! (Maybe you guys could recommend some PVs of your own?)
Anyway, this week I'm reccomending a music video that never fails to fill me with the feels, it's "Kiseki" by Greeeen. Not only is it very touching, for me, it brings a lot of nostalgia to back when I lived in Japan. This song was the ending theme for a j-drama that aired at the time, called "Rookies", about a bunch of delinquent kids and the idealistic teacher who changed their lives by making them into a baseball team. (My friends and I always thought the show needed to have a crossover with Gokusen.)
The video quality isn't super great here, but I dare you not to get just a little bit emotional ;)
Discussion of Music Station for the week of May 29, 2015. There was a VS battle. Daigo and Golden Bomber were both there. And there was hugging. Among other amazing performances. But who did Sarah and Makoto think went home with first place? Tune in and hear for yourselves!
Music Station for the date March 13 is discussed, plenty of great acts! But who was our favorite performance? Well, some groups were not helped by the addition of clowns, let's just say that... Click here to listen!
Our pilot episode, test run, amazing kick-off, whatever you want to call it! Sarah and Makoto talk about the 65th annual Kouhaku Uta Gassen, a yearly Japanese music program that will have you on the edge of your seats! Who were our favorite groups? What were our favorite performances? And most importantly... who won?
